Technicalities
Our fee's are based on providing highly accurate plans, with all doors and windows in the correct location. Kitchen and bathroom fixtures and fittings are shown in situ. The position of fireplaces are shown as are the location of heating boilers and hot water cylinders where installed. Low level ceiling beams and roof lights are shown in dotted outline. Walls are shown hatched solid and measurements are marked up in the main reception rooms and bedrooms in metric and imperial units (rounded down to the nearest 7cm/3") according to RICS guidelines.
Small arrows denote where the measurements relate to. Gross internal floor area is shown and where detached outbuildings are involved, a separate figure is given for these. A North point is included on the plan. We normally send plans in Acrobat pdf format, but can also send in jpg, tif, eps, png and many other formats to suit your systems or web site requirements. Your logo and disclaimer can be inserted on the plan if required, and we are happy to accommodate your specific house style.
Copies of old plans can be provided with the permission of the copyright holder and subject to an administration fee.
